Aditi Rao Hydari has come to be known as Mani Ratnam’s blue-eyed girl. It is no secret that the filmmaker loves to cast Aditi in his projects and brings out the best in her. A great example of this is her Tamil film Kaatru Veliyidai, written directed and produced by Mani Ratnam, which completes five successful years today.

The pan-Indian actress played the role of Dr. Leela Abraham in the romantic war film and her performance in the movie was widely appreciated by critics and loved by fans. Today, she took to her social media to celebrate her five-year filmversary of Kaatru Veliyidai. She re-shared a post that tagged her talking about her performance in the movie.

I ended up walking out the theatre as ADITI’s fan. The way she evinced as LEELA was so good that we can’t even describe that in words.
