I auditioned for three hours just to memorize two lines: Perin Malde

essayed the role of Luv in Anand Sagar’s Ramayan

Mumbai, 07 August, 2020: Anand Sagar’s Ramayan is entertaining million viewers once again on Dangal channel. The mythological show will soon witness the entry of Perin and Rishabh who beautifully essayed the roles of Luv and Kush at a mere age of 9 and 11 years respectively.

Talking about how Perin Malde bagged the role of Luv in Ramayan, he said, “The makers were looking for a suitable actor since a month and had nearly auditioned thousand kids for the role of Luv. I received an audition call for the same. I visited their office with my mom.

When I went for the audition my mom helped me remember the lines. The casting person saw my audition tape and asked me to recite some more lines from the script.

On hearing this, I got extremely nervous because without my mom’s help I couldn’t remember the lines. However, because they saw potential in me, they had the patience to allow me to take my own time.

I nearly took three hours to memorize just two sentences from the script. In spite of taking so much time, I bagged the role of Luv and the journey of playing Luv on screen has been the most beautiful for me.”

Ramayan, the epic tale of promises and ideologies is aired every evening at 7.30pm and repeat telecast at 9.30am the following day only on Dangal channel.
