NETFLIX’S UNACCUSTOMED EARTH DEBUTS OFFICIAL TRAILER

Today, Netflix released the official trailer, key art and new images for Unaccustomed Earth, the upcoming family drama series from John Wells Productions starring Freida Pinto coming to Netflix December 17.

Inspired by Jhumpa Lahiri’s internationally beloved 2008 short story collection of the same name, the series takes characters and stories that originally existed across separate narratives and weaves them together into an ongoing saga of love, desire, family, and belonging.

Lahiri, who also serves as an executive producer on the series, says, “Charting its own course through my stories, this series deftly layers themes of loyalty and betrayal, truth-telling, and lies. Exceptional acting and a compelling plot will speak to anyone who has ever had to navigate questions of belonging and loss.”
