Pratap Group Celebrated the Grand Inauguration of Two Advanced Manufacturing Units in Pithampur
Indore, August 20, 2026 – Pratap Group successfully inaugurated and dedicated to the nation two state of the art manufacturing facilities in Madhya Pradesh. The landmark ceremony was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Dr. Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, and Hon’ble Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Minister of Culture & Tourism, Government of India, who jointly inaugurated the facilities.
The first facility, Corsis Industries – Advanced Optical Fibre Manufacturing Plant, was established to strengthen India’s rapidly expanding digital infrastructure. This world class unit began manufacturing advanced optical fiber to support broadband connectivity, 5G networks, FTTH, data centers, smart cities, defense, and other critical communication systems. The plant embodied the vision of Digital India, Make in India, and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
The second facility, Voltters Technologies – Advanced Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Lithium ion Battery Manufacturing Facility, was inaugurated as a cutting edge unit equipped with modern robotic technology and Industry 4.0 automation. It commenced production of BESS and Lithium ion battery solutions, playing a pivotal role in integrating renewable energy, supporting utilities, and meeting the growing demand for commercial and industrial applications. The facility aligned with India’s National Clean Energy Mission, Green Energy Goals, and the Developed India @2047 vision.
Chairman and Managing Director of Pratap Group, Mr. Devendra Singh Shekhawat said –“I begin by expressing my heartfelt gratitude to my parents for instilling such noble values in me. Today is not merely an inauguration, but a day that marks a new direction for India’s bright future, clean energy, and advanced technology. With the launch of our Battery Energy Storage Systems and Advanced Optical Fibre facilities, we celebrate both pride and joy. I extend my deepest thanks to Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav Ji and my elder brother Shri Gajendra Singh Ji for gracing us with their presence, blessings, and encouragement.”
Mr. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Minister of Culture & Tourism, said – “We stand at the threshold of the digital and AI era, where advanced technologies will play a pivotal role in India’s growth. Reliable power supply and high level connectivity are essential, and optical fibre and storage systems will bridge this gap, enabling secure harnessing of solar and wind energy. With an investment of nearly ₹850 crore, this plant has already created direct and indirect employment for 800–1000 people. This initiative strengthens Madhya Pradesh’s industrial growth, resource security, and infrastructure, making it a land of immense opportunities.
Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav said -“I am truly delighted to witness the inauguration of these advanced facilities in Madhya Pradesh. This initiative reflects the vision of clean energy, modern technology, and industrial growth that our state is committed to. I warmly congratulate the Pratap Group on their remarkable contribution and on investing in our state’s future. The creation of employment opportunities and skill development for our youth is commendable. I urge the Pratap Group to continue bringing more such investments to Madhya Pradesh, as together we can strengthen our economy, empower our people, and make our state a hub of innovation and opportunity.”
These projects are expected to generate more than 3,500 direct and indirect employment opportunities. Alongside, the Group has set up a training academy to nurture skills and prepare the workforce for emerging sectors. Pratap Digital Communications Pvt. Ltd. at Unit 40 is dedicated to optical fiber cable manufacturing under the brand name Corsis Technologies, with an annual production capacity of approximately 6.5 million fiberkilometers and an advanced R&D Centre. Corsis Industries at Unit 98, spread over 8,067 square meters, has an annual capacity of 5.5 million fiberkilometers, with products serving broadband, 5G, FTTH, data centers, smart cities, defense, and other strategic communication infrastructure. Voltters Technologies at Unit 100, spread over 20,505 square meters, is a fully automated and robotic plant with a production capacity of 3 GWh, developed to manufacture Battery Energy Storage Systems and Lithium ion Battery solutions.
