Sayantani Ghosh to play the goddess of Vishkanyas in COLORS’ Sitaara
In COLORS’ popular supernatural show Sitaara, viewers are currently witnessing high voltage drama as Sitaara single handedly takes on the battle against the Vishkanyas.
Keeping up with the storyline, a major twist in the tale will be revealed with the entry of television’s popular actress, Sayantani Ghosh, who will essay the role of Mahama, goddess of Vishkanyas. Mahama along with her powers will help the Vishkanyas fight against Sitaara and avenge her. Her entry will further spruce up the drama in the upcoming episodes.
Keeping in mind her powerful character, Sayantani has been given a very dramatic look. Heavy gold jewelry paired with black and golden costumes are designed to give her look a contemporary twist. To complete the look of a royal goddess, a black cape and a glittering tiara has been added as crucial elements.
Commenting about her character and the love for the supernatural genre, Sayantani Ghosh said, “Supernatural shows have seen an upsurge amongst the audience and I’m happy that I have been offered to play this role. I will be seen as Mahama, the Goddess of Vishkanyas and being the goddess, she is one of the most powerful Vishkanya amongst all. She comes with an aim to fight against Sitaara and help other Vishkanyas escape from Rajgurus trap. I’m really looking forward to be a part of this show and I hope I continue entertaining viewers with this role.”
