Sehban Azim’s Saree struggles on Tujhse Hai Raabta
The actor plays Malhar in the show!
Actors go the extra mile to get into the skin of their characters and effortlessly adapt to their roles and one such actor winning hearts with his natural performance is television heart-throb Sehban Azim seen as Malhar Rane in Zee TV’s immensely popular show ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta’. Until now, viewers have seen Kalyani (played by Reem Shaikh) get hypnotised and begin to behave like Atharva (played by Shagun Pandey).
In the upcoming episodes, viewers will witness a Mangla-Gauri puja taking place as a part of which Malhar will drape a saree to be a part of the ceremony that is only for women and sit beside Kalyani, in order to control her errant behaviour. While it looked easy and effortless for him to wear a saree on-screen, it was quite a struggle for Sehban behind the scenes!
Sehban Azim said, “This is the first time in my life that I have draped a saree and it was a crazy experience. It was a tiring procedure to wear the saree and three people helped me drape it. I found it very difficult to move in it and adjust myself to it comfortably. Hats off to the women who wear it every day with such grace.
Initially, I was super hesitant and wanted to refuse wearing the sari but then I am an actor I should be ready to embrace everything as a performer and an entertainer so I thought I should try this and experience it, gladly I even managed walking well in it without falling. Let’s hope the audiences enjoy watching this side of inspector Malhar Rane”
Kudos to Sehban for wearing a saree and looking super-cool in it too!
