Tamannaah Embraces the Spirit of Chhath Puja in The Vvaan’s Powerful ‘Chhathi Maiya’ Song Teaser

After the makers of The Vvaan ignited the innocence of love and romance with Samjho Na track and offered the audience a window into the film’s romantic shade, they have now shifted gears by tapping into the devotional space of The Vvaan by unveiling a gripping teaser of its second song, Chhathi Maiya, where spirituality takes centre stage alongside the strength of Van Devi and the power of Chhath.

In addition to the mystery in the forest and folklore in the air, there’s the power of Van Devi and the long-standing beauty of Chhath Puja that’s brought to life in Chhathi Maiya song teaser. The song is sung in the soothing vocals and composition of Vishal Mishra, with lyrics penned by Kaushal Kishore and performance choreographed by Chinni Prakash.

After Samjho tugged heartstrings and displayed the comforting romantic equation between Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah, Chhathi Maiya delves deeper into the film’s spiritual core by depicting the age-old tradition of Chhath Puja that sits within the larger folklore-fantasy adventure with Tamannaah and Shweta Tiwari at the heart of it. Under the music label of Zee Music, the song also offers Vvaan a spiritual vibe amid the mystery, adventure, romantic and the fantastical world. The teaser of Chhathi Maiya is a rare glimpse that makes you curious about the religious and devotional world the film has to offer.

Backed by some of the country’s most distinctive storytellers, The Vvaan brings together TVF’s Arunabh Kumar, director Deepak Mishra and Ektaa Kapoor for a commercial film that takes Indian folklore into a new cinematic space. Written by Arunabh Kumar and directed by Deepak Mishra, with Manu Anand as DOP and Visual Director, the film is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar and Niraj Kothari.
