Kanika Dhillon and Vinil Mathew create a delicious tale of whodunit, Haseen Dillruba, which is a must-watch!
With Haseen Dillruba, Kanika Dhillon and Vinil Mathew have left the audience entertained, intrigued, and more than that, wanting for more. From creating the bloody mystery world to crafting exciting characters – everything about the writing keeps you glued to the screen.
Kanika, who is known for capturing the essence of small-town, comments on the patriarchal society with her latest film. After Rumi from Manmarziyaan, Nanki from Guilty, and Bobby from Judgemental Hai kya, Kanika’s Rani is a splendid addition to these powerful female characters.
While a critic said, “the screenplay, as well as the dialogue by Kanika, are gripping,” another called her a “creative genius” who gave birth to a film that redefines the pulp fiction genre. Vinil has effectively merged the humour and thrill in his telling!
More than that it seems it’s the audiences that are lapping up the pulpy – whodunit tale that keeps u hooked and entertained till the last frame!
Talking about the same, Kanika said, “I have tried something very different from my previous work hence I am nervous and excited. Haseen Dillruba is a film for the audiences to enjoy, to be thrilled and entertained, and I am glad that it’s reaching out to the audiences it is meant for!”
In a similar vein, Vinil said, “I wanted to explore the Hindi pulp world and I loved creating it. I made the film for the audience, and I am overwhelmed by the fact that they are enjoying this mad ride!”
Starring Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey, and Harshvardhan Rane, Kanika’s murder mystery is creating a lot of noise across the audience.
Haseen Dillruba is directed by Vinil Mathew and produced by Aanand L. Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar.
