One of India’s biggest video-streaming platforms Disney+ Hotstar joins hands with prolific filmmaker NikkhilAdvani of Emmay Entertainment to present the biggest show ever created in India,The Empire – a fiction saga of a warrior-turned-king. Mounted on an unrivalled scale that brings together India’s finest talent, spectacular visuals and a gripping narrative, Hotstar Specials presents The Empire now streaming for all subscribers of Disney+ Hotstar.

Talking about how he prepared himself to play the antagonist, Shabani Khan, actor Dino Morea says, “I tried to approach a new learning from the past couple of years where I try to associate the character with an animal. We associated Shabani Khan with Black Panther and I actually watched a lot of videos on black panthers and observed just their movements, the way they are, their prowl, that really helps in your game, in your walk, in your talk, in your cunningness and brings a little growl in the voice. I am a ‘switch on-switch off’ actor. I do sink my teeth into the character. But there are certain habits you imbibe while you shoot that continue staying with you because they are interesting and nice.”
