Global Star Ram Charan Backs Saqib Saleem’s Baby Do Die Do, Calls Huma and Saqib’s Effort ‘Truly Given Their All’

Actor-producer Saqib Saleem has another reason to celebrate as his maiden production venture, Baby Do Die Do, continues to receive love from audiences and now, a special shoutout from Ram Charan.

Taking to social media, Ram Charan praised the recently released crime thriller and applauded both Saqib Saleem and Huma Qureshi for their efforts. Sharing his appreciation, he wrote, “Hearing wonderful things about #BabyDoDieDo. @humasqureshi always delivers outstanding performances. She and her brother #SaqibSaleem have truly given their all to this film.”

The appreciation comes at a significant moment for Saqib, who made his debut as a producer with Baby Do Die Do. Produced under the newly launched Saleem Siblings banner, the film marks the first co-production between Saqib Saleem and his sister, Huma Qureshi. Along with backing the project, Saqib also made a striking on-screen appearance in the much-talked-about track Alpha Q, which has been winning praise for his stylish avatar, impressive physical transformation and energetic performance.

For Saqib, Baby Do Die Do has been a deeply personal journey. The film wrapped production in July 2024 but reached theatres only in July 2026. Reflecting on the long road to release, the actor-producer recently shared an emotional note on social media, writing that it had been “quite a journey”. The experience further strengthened his belief in independently backing projects, allowing him to have a stronger say in how they are positioned and presented to audiences.

Directed by Nachiket Samant, Baby Do Die Do stars Huma Qureshi in the lead alongside Chunky Panday, Sikandar Kher and Seema Pahwa. Released in theatres on July 3, the crime thriller has been garnering positive responses for its engaging narrative, performances and music, with Ram Charan’s endorsement adding yet another milestone to Saqib Saleem’s memorable outing as a producer.
