KARAN MEHRA AKA NAITIK TO PLAY SHRENU PARIKH’S FATHER IN STARPLUS’ EK BHRAM SARVAGUN SAMPANNA

Karan Mehra, who rose to fame as Naitik in Star Plus’ Yeh Ristha Kya Kehlata Hai is back to the fiction genre on television after two years with Dipti Kalwani’s Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna. Karan will play father to Shrenu Parikh and Tina Phillip.

He shared, ‘There is a backstory to the plot and I appear in flashbacks. I will be required to shoot for two days in a month, and I like that arrangement. Two days a month is practically viable.’

The actor says that he doesn’t want to restrict himself to positive characters. He adds, ‘I want acting to be a hobby and not a compulsion. I want to try a negative character, and it will be a lot of fun.

I want to explore different acting avenues. The scenario has changed industry wise, and there is no typecast issue. For an actor, it is a good time with wide variety of options.’
