Mohsin Khan takes up the challenge to play father role

The much loved small screen couple Kartik and Naira of StarPlus’ long-running show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai are all set to take their relationship to the next level.

They will soon embark on the beautiful journey of parenthood with Naira getting pregnant with their first child. Mohsin Khan, who plays Kartik has never played the role of the father before and has taken up the challenge for this show.

A source close the show revealed, “Mohsin Khan was initially a little dubious on playing a father role onscreen as he wanted to complete justice to the portrayal. He has taken up the challenge of playing a father and started doing his homework to make sure that his portrayal looks realistic and relatable.”

It would be a treat for the fans of StarPlus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai to watch their favourite couple go through this new beginnings.
