Varun Dhawan not only made a significant plot purchase recently, but is also keen on making the most of it. As a new owner of a farmland, Dhawan took to his social media handle to address soil issues faced by farmers, emphasising that today’s soil lacks nutrients that used to be present in abundance before. While pointing out the issue, the actor also seeks solutions for the same, urging netizens of offer ways to combat the issue.

“When I visited my farm, the farmers told me that today’s soil lacks natural nutrients that used to be present before. The seeds are also devoid of those nutrients – zinc, magnesium. The chemicals are affecting all it. But sadly, that is what we are consuming, everyone is consuming, and it is very worrisome. It has been giving me sleepless nights, and I just wanted to know from people who are into farming and produce – what is the solution. What is the way to combat this?” he shared.

Earlier, the actor shared his glimpse from his farmland with a sweet note that reflected his joy while doing “kheti”. Now that the actor addresses a critical issue faced by a majority of farmers, solutions to the same could offer a healthier way of growing, cultivating and consuming nurtrient-rich edibles.
