Varun Dhawan Expresses Gratitude to the Star Cast of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, Gives Special Credit to Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde

Varun Dhawan is all set to keep alive the legacy of his father and veteran filmmaker David Dhawan with the upcoming rom-com, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. The film is inching closer to its release date, and ahead of its theatrical storm, Varun took a moment to express gratitude towards the film’s star cast and extended special credits to the film’s leading ladies, Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde.

Varun, who steps into a colourful character once again, says, “I feel if my character shines, it will be because of Mrunal and Pooja’s support. My father’s health was up and down through it all. Everyone from the cast, from the girls to Maniesh & Jimmy, gave so much love to him and made this film happen together.”

With Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, Varun Dhawan returns to the genre he’s loved the most, a vibrant rom-com. And his fans are particularly excited to see him in the space of Main Tera Hero, alongside two substantial leading ladies.

Bringing together Varun Dhawan alongside Mrunal Thakur, Pooja Hegde and the comic-charmer Maniesh Paul among others, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai is directed by David Dhawan and in theatres now.
