Sony Entertainment Television’s popular comedy show; The Kapil Sharma Show will be back on the television after almost 4 months, starting 1st August. Keeping up with the promise of entertaining the whole country, this weekend, the viewers will be in for fun unlimited with all new episodes.
The man of the moment, who turned out to be the messiah of migrant workers in these difficult times, Bollywood’s beloved actor, Sonu Sood will be seen as the first guest on the show.
He emerged as a hero for the migrant workers and helped them reach their homes safely and also helped them by giving them money to fulfill basic needs. Sonu Sood has attracted national spotlight for the aid he provided to migrant workers.
On the show, he shared the thought and the motivation behind the app – ‘Pravsi Rojgar’ which he has recently launched and also shared some anecdotes about it.
On being asked by Kapil, Sonu shared, “While arranging for travel, I used to enquire about when they will come back and whether or not they will come back at all.
To which I used to get a standard response saying if they get a job they will come, else they will try and figure something in their own hometown. This got me thinking.
Being from the engineering background myself, I started work on a platform along with my team, to figure a way in which these people could get a job through an app.
It took us 2-3 months to build this and through this app, any one, from any state, can upskill themselves, or even find a suitable job in another state. By the time this episode goes on air, around 1 – 1.5 lakh people would have found themselves a job.”
