Rockstar DSP’s biggest dream comes true as maestro Ilaiyaraaja visits his studio.
Music composer Devi Sri Prasad aka Rockstar DSP is on cloud nine as he experienced a fan moment with music maestro Ilaiyaraaja, who visited the music composer’s studio. It is not unknown that DSP is a huge admirer of maestro Ilaiyaraaja. The composer has often referred to him as the God of music. He also called him one of the inspirations behind his music. In fact, many may not know that the composer has a big wall length photo of Ilaiyaraaja in his studio.
The acclaimed music composer had previously spoken about how he took Ilaiyaraaja’s blessings after winning the National Award for ‘Pushpa: The Rise’. Now, fans are eagerly waiting to know if DSP and Ilaiyaraaja, who has composed music for over 1300 films across various languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, will collaborate for a project together.
Meanwhile, DSP has some interesting line-ups. He will be composing music for Thandel, Pushpa: The Rule, Kanguva, and Ustaad Bhagat Singh. He recently announced his first collaboration with filmmaker Sekhar Kammula for his upcoming directorial ‘Kubera’, which stars Dhanush in the lead role.
