Anjana Sukhani Voices Concern Amid the Tragedy of Nepal Flash Floods

Anjana Sukhani has come forward to express solidarity with the people of Nepal as floods ravaged towns, leaving many dead and nearly 400 people missing. The actress took to her social media handle to express concern for those affected and took pride that India is the first to provide aid and assistance during such a grave situation.

“In this time of distress and calamity my prayers and thoughts are with the people of Nepal. Praying for their well-being. Proud of my country to be the first in providing aid, assistance n help. Take care #Nepal,” she wrote in her social media post.

About the Nepal Flash Floods

As per the preliminary situation update issued by the Nepal Tourism Board, flash floods in the Bhote Koshi River hit the Rasuwa region on Wednesday morning. The board said that 384 missing tourists include 291 foreign nationals and 93 Nepali citizens. The foreign nationals are from many other countries, including 105 from India and others from the United Kingdom, Australia and United States, Malaysia, South Africa and the Netherlands.
