Gaurav Verma’s Avanika Films Unveils Prem Keetanu; Announces October 2, 2026 Release

Producer Gaurav Verma’s newly established banner, Avanika Films, co-presented with Phars Films, has announced the worldwide theatrical release of Prem Keetanu, set to arrive in cinemas on October 2, 2026. The film brings together Veer Pahariya, Aafiya Sayed, Aparshakti Khurana, Rakesh Bedi and Nikhil Vijay, and is directed by Apoorv Singh Karki (of Sirf Ek Banda Kaafi Hai & Aspirants fame).

Prem Keetanu is a story about the boys “Jinko college main na marks mile, na ummeed, na pyar, kuch mila to sirf dost aur khoob sare heartbreaks”. The film explores young India and their aspirations and struggles with life and love in a very comical yet relatable way.

The film marks the first title from Avanika Films, founded by Gaurav Verma with a vision to champion stories that combine emotional authenticity with strong theatrical appeal. His last few films as an independent Producer for Red Chillies, like Darlings, Bhakshak, Jawan, and Badla, have been critically acclaimed and commercially successful.

As its inaugural production, Prem Keetanu establishes the creative direction of Avanika Films a studio focused on building a diverse slate of theatrical films that balance fresh storytelling with mainstream entertainment.

Prem Keetanu aims to resonate with today’s youth and evoke nostalgia in older generations, connecting their lived experiences with aspirations for the next generation.
