IIM Indore Hosts First National Conference of Social Mobility Promoting Organizations

IIM Indore is hosting the First National Conference of Social Mobility Promoting Organizations (SMPO) conducted by Professor Anirudh Krishna, Duke University, USA. The two day conference is been coordinated by the Industry Interface Office of IIM Indore and is attended by 18 participants from 13 organizations from across the nation. These organizations include Avanti Fellows, Udaan Foundation, Udhyam Learning Institute Excellence Forum, Barli Development, etc. among others.

The conference began in the presence of all the participants and Professor Krishna. Professor Rishikesha T. Krishnan, Director, IIM Indore welcomed the participants. This was followed by a presentation by Professor Krishna.

The conference would have various sessions on topics like Implementation Model & Main Challenges of Various SMPO Groups, Challenges and Promises of the Sector and Idea of National Federation, Consideration of a Federation, etc.

IIM Indore is happy to host the conference and believes the conference would be very fruitful for the participants and they would enjoy their stay on campus.
