Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Take on the Unknown as The Vvaan Trailer Unveils a Spectacle Like Never Before

Forget everything you thought you knew about the supernatural on screen. The Vvaan has arrived with a trailer that is determined to throw the rulebook into the forest, quite literally.

After the teaser opened the gates to Vvaan, the trailer goes several steps further, revealing a sprawling, strange and rooted folklore world where ancient beliefs and the supernatural collide. This is not a familiar horror template, nor is it mythology packaged in the conventional way we know or recognise. The Vvaan is attempting something far more ambitious – turning Indian folklore into an original big-screen spectacle that resonates with every nook and corner of the country and feels completely its own.

At the heart of this are Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah, whose first-time pairing gives the film its emotional pulse even as the story pulls them deeper into a world governed by rules that clearly existed long before they became a part of it. Backed by some of the country’s most distinctive storytellers, The Vvaan brings together TVF’s Arunabh Kumar, director Deepak Mishra and Ektaa Kapoor for a commercial film that attempts to take Indian folklore into a new cinematic space. While its world is rooted in folklore and fantasy, the film brings together adventure, mystery and humour to shape itself as a complete family entertainer. The ambition extends beyond the film, with The Legend of Vvaan comic book already introducing audiences to the larger folklore surrounding its universe.

Presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd, in association with TVF and 11.11 Production, The Vvaan stars Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah. Written by Arunabh Kumar and directed by Deepak Mishra, with Manu Anand as DOP and Visual Director, the film is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar and Niraj Kothari.
